Jennifer Granholm says attack ads focusing on Romney’s record of outsourcing while at Bain are effective and will hurt the candidate because the effects of outsourcing are felt deeply by communities where jobs are lost. “In every community where a factory closed and jobs vanished, a gaping scar remains. Whether it’s the shell of an empty factory or a vacant lot, there is an open wound that reminds those communities of their loss.”
