House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi joins Jennifer Granholm in ‘The War Room’ to discuss how to recruit both women and men to run for office. Pelosi says many of the women running for office this year “self-recruited” because they feel the country is on a bad path with the Republican majority in Congress. “I say to women: Know your power. It’s a contribution only you can make,” says Pelosi. Also inspiring female candidates to run: The battle over women’s reproductive health, which has brought out women in support of other women.
