With Arizona and Michigan primaries less than a week away, GOP candidates are spending in force — especially on negative campaign ads. A crowded field of candidates combined with the advent of Super PACs have redefined the campaign trail, prompting a more than $19 million spend on negative ads thus far. “The political game in America is really being decided by these negative ads and that’s why all these dollars go towards them,” Blake tells Granholm.
