'You have to deal with other people's expectations and fear of who you are'
Kamau Bell and Jennifer Granholm take a serious look at the experiences of young black men in America. From his mother, Bell says he learned at an early age to be constantly aware that people were watching him. “Anyone who’s outside of straight white maleness, you have to deal with other people’s expectations and fear of who you are.”
