What is ‘The U Block’? It’s all about you

Right out of the gate, “The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur” will include more of your voices than any other show of its kind. We’re not talking about blandly reading Tweets on air or showing wacky YouTube clips while anchors laugh about LOLcats off-camera.

From the first meeting each morning at 8 a.m. through every day of putting together that night’s show, our online team will be soliciting your input. On Twitter, add #TYTonTV to pitch your ideas for what Cenk and the Turks should cover. Email us. Comment on Facebook or the show’s website. Ask Cenk anything.

Your best suggestions will be voiced in every meeting right alongside the opinions of the show’s producers, regular contributors and guests. Think of yourself as, collectively, another Young Turk to whom Cenk can turn for an opinion on the news of the day. (We can’t promise he’ll agree with your ideas any more than he does with anyone else’s, of course.)

Then, during the last segment of the show — in TV, we call those “blocks,” and technically this is the F block — Cenk will take on your tough questions and give you his perspective on the stories you care most about.

We’re taking what you say seriously. Come join us in making The U Block.
