“Stand Your Ground” laws have led to twice as many homicides being named “justifiable,” including the death of one developmentally-disabled Arizona man who was shot after an altercation in a restaurant drive-through.
“They seem to have flipped the rights on their head,” Cenk says. “If you’re the guy with the gun, you have all the rights… If you don’t have a gun, you have no rights.”
Ana Kasparian says, “It scares the hell out of me. It gives everyone an incentive to go out and buy a gun — which is what the NRA wants.”
