Cenk clarifies one comment he made to Andrew Breitbart on the show last night, a quote that he believed was Bretibart speaking of his own journalism. It was actually in reference to The National Enquirer. Cenk says, “If we get something wrong, we just tell you so we can get to the reality of the matter here. If they get something wrong, they double down.” But Cenk also points out that, despite claims on Breitbart’s website that Cenk was “pleading for a commercial break” mid-way through the interview, the overwhelming majority of the segment — 13 minutes out of 16:15 — was taken up by Breitbart’s filibuster. “That was the longest segment we have ever done on ‘Young Turks’ on Current Television, ever,” Cenk says.
