Turns out Craig has come back to Washington, D.C. — as a lobbyist working for Murray Energy, owners of the Utah mine that collapsed in 2007, only a few weeks after Craig was arrested for allegedly soliciting sex in a bathroom. Reform of mining laws that might protect workers from similar cave-ins has been blocked by lobbyists, of course. “At least this time, when Larry Craig got on his hands and knees,” Cenk says, “he got paid for it.”
