Clift and Shure agree that the decision is a major victory for the Obama administration and its 2012 campaign. “As crazy as the Republicans are and their mantra is ‘repeal and replace,’ they’ve never done anything about the ‘replace’ part,” Clift says. “You can’t take away benefits the American people are getting and hand them nothing. So I think this is basically a health care coup d’etat by President Obama.”
