Could 9/11 have been prevented by heeding CIA warnings? (Part 1 of 2)

“We have been told over and over again, ‘Well, there was nothing that could have been done,’” Cenk says. “Well, that turns out to be untrue.” On the 11th anniversary of 9/11, Cenk tears into the Bush administration, which ignored repeated warnings from the CIA of a terrorist strike against America. Some of these warnings were even delivered in person at George W. Bush’s ranch in Texas. “You know what Bush’s response was?” Cenk quotes from a Washington Post report: “Bush reportedly heard the briefer out and replied, ‘All right. You’ve covered your ass now.’”
