Did Republicans in Congress cave on the debt ceiling fight because corporate America told them to?

Cenk Uygur talks with Grace Wyler, politics editor at Business Insider, about why the Republicans compromised on the 2013 debt ceiling debate without a fight. Wyler says, “I think this is a big reflection of the post-election landscape. Republicans realize that they are at a disadvantage, that their message hasn’t been working.” But Cenk disagrees, saying, “I think what it is, is that their bosses in corporate America said, ‘No, no, no. Debt ceiling is sacrosanct. … You can mess with government and Social Security payments and payments to soldiers anytime you like, but you’re not going to mess with our bonds.’”
