Exclusive: Earlier version of anti-Muslim film was titled ‘Innocence of bin Laden,’ may have been intended to provoke anger

Before “Innocence of Muslims” became infamous for its role inciting violent protests against the U.S., it was called “Innocence of bin Laden,” and it opened at a small theater in Hollywood to a reported audience of only 10 people. “TYT” producer Roland Woerner snapped an exclusive photo of the film’s poster back in June, which rather than its offensive portrayal of Islam instead promises to show “who is the real terrorist and who killed our women and children.” Cenk says, “Was the motivation of this movie apparently somewhat financial? Apparently yes, in the weirdest movie scam of all time. But was it also apparently to provoke a confrontation? Apparently so.”
