Filmmaker Richard E. Robbins joins “The Young Turks” to talk about “Girl Rising,” a documentary he directed about nine young women in nine different countries, including Cambodia, India, Afghanistan and Ethiopia. “Girl Rising” explores the educational opportunities available for these young women and captures their inspiring optimism. Robbins says the girls he met all shared one thing: a passion for education and a deep desire to continue learning.
