After more than 12 different billion-dollar natural disasters in world last year, is it time to admit that climate change is an important issue? “At the end of the day, scientists say this is what we can expect, and then we see it,” Seder says. “The real problem is that the press is just not talking about the broader issue.” Terkel points out, though, that “part of the reason it’s out of the media is that the White House and Congress aren’t addressing the issue at all.”
