James Poulos and Shaunna Thomas join Cenk’s Power Panel to survey the Susan G. Komen foundation’s wreckage after Vice President Karen Handel resigned Tuesday morning. Is Handel’s departure enough to restore Komen’s public image? “No, of course it’s not,” Thomas says. “At this point, [Komen hasn't] actually committed to funding Planned Parenthood in the future, and this is really about low-income women having access to the preventative services that they need.” James Poulos disagrees. “Planned Parenthood is an organization that has a billion dollars a year in revenue,” he says, and Komen was only donating about 700,000 dollars. “It’s not as if this is pulling the plug on a certain kind of care for a certain class or a certain group of women. That’s just not the case.”
