Leon Panetta can’t rationalize drone strikes when ‘we’re regularly killing people in countries we’re not even at war with’

Ana Kasparian, Michael Shure, and BuzzFeed writer and TYT contributor Michael Hastings call out Leon Panetta for defending drones. Panetta calls drone strikes “precise operations” with limited collateral damage, but casualty numbers show otherwise. “We’re regularly killing people in countries we’re not even at war with,” Hastings says. “If you can rationalize killing unarmed kids because they happen to be near people who you think are bad guys, I think then you can basically rationalize killing anybody, and you might as well nuke the whole country.”
