Guest host Michael Shure talks with Professor Tricia Rose of Brown University and Eliza Diop, a student at Oberlin College, which has been hit by a wave of racist attacks. Recently, the school was bombarded with Ku Klux Klan symbols and swastikas, and one student saw someone dressed as a KKK member on campus. Diop says the events underscore the need for ongoing anti-racist education and retention programs for nonwhite students.
