Reporter says Florida Department of Health knew about the latest tuberculosis outbreak in 2008

Stacey Singer, reporter for The Palm Beach Post, talks with Cenk about breaking the story of Jacksonville’s tuberculosis outbreak. The outbreak dates back to a man who went untreated during 2008, and though they knew he’d passed it on to others then, the Florida Department of Health chose not to tell the public. Singer says, “Their rationale was that it was not in the general population, they said. Of course, they were wrong.”
