Michael Shure, Tricia Rose and Michael Hastings talk about the right-wing attempts to counter allegations that Mitt Romney bullied a prep school peer with stories of President Obama’s supposed bullying as a child.
“It’s the kind of thing that they take so perfectly out of context,” Shure says, especially when Obama’s memoir demonstrates the reflection and contrition that’s been so lacking in Romney’s response. “I think that Mitt Romney is lying to America [about not remembering], and that makes it even worse.”
