Romney’s lying about his support for pre-existing condition insurance coverage

Almost everyone — 85 percent of all Americans Ô supports protections that would allow pre-existing condition coverage for individual insurance. Mitt Romney sounds like he’s in favor of it too — but in reality he’s only backing the law as it exists now, which allows those with coverage through their job to move to another company without risk of getting rejected.

“In other words, he says ‘pre-existing condition’ as if he’s on your side, but it masks a deep, underlying lie,” Cenk says. “He is not going to do any of the things that President Obama’s health-care reform is going to do with regards to pre-existing conditions. He’s just going to continue an old law that was already in place.”
