Guest host Michael Shure talks to Media Matters for America Senior Fellow Eric Boehlert and Herb Jackson, a reporter for The Record (Bergen County, N.J.), about the “he said, she said” accusations The Daily Caller has made, claiming that Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., solicited sex from Dominican prostitutes. Recently, The Washington Post reported that one of the two women interviewed in the story confessed that she was paid to lie about an encounter with Menendez. Boehlert doesn’t claim to know the truth for sure, but says, “If it’s a battle between The Washington Post and The Daily Caller — one has a pretty good history of solid journalism; one does not.”
