‘We got what we wanted,’ Cenk says of Komen’s Planned Parenthood reversal — is it time to forgive and forget?

As the Susan G. Komen Foundation backs away from a decision to cut funding to Planned Parenthood, Cenk asks a special panel — Ana Kasparian, USC professor Ange-Marie Hancock, Becky Bond of CREDO Mobile (a longtime corporate supporter of Planned Parenthood) and Eric Scheidler from Pro-Life Action League — whether the apparent reversal can be trusted — and if it’s too late for Komen to save its reputation either way.

“The damage to the Komen brand is far more reaching than just to Planned Parenthood,” Hancock says. Cenk points out, “We got the result we wanted,” and asks if it’s time to forgive and forget. Bond says, “We never forget. There’s a witch hunt going on. We’ve been defending Planned Parenthood since the early 1990s. We have no illusions that we’re not going to have to be ready to fight every day.”
