Tweeting to the London Marathon's finish line

Pete Wilkinson, digital news producer at CNN.com in London, has quite possibly found the best way to distract himself from the fact that he's running 26.2 miles in one go - he's going to "tweet" about his progress during this weekend's London Marathon - while he runs.

"I think it's going to be incredibly hard," Wilkinson admitted about his plans. "I've tried it while on a few practice runs and it's quite hard reading the screen."

He's not the first marathon runner to tweet during the race. Apparentely, someone tweeted during last year's Boston Marathon.
