For the avid, safety conscious gamers amongst you, now there's a solution for the pain that is swapping/charging dead batteries in your Wii remote.
Despite all the praise Nintendo have had for their innovations, they deemed it unnecessary to make their Wii remotes rechargeable. Instead they take regular AA batteries. This can be an inconvenience to say the least, especially when the company's safety measure (rubber slip-on skins for the controllers) makes getting the battery cover on or off, a Herculean task.
Now one company, best know for it's mascot bunny, has made a recharging system that doesn't involve anything more complicated or messy than placing the controllers on a stand. It uses what is know as "induction" charging - a technology that is slowly making its way to all manner of gadgets and gizmos.

Me too. Been using regular rechargeables and haven't bothered with Nintendo's wii-mote silicon skins as they're a huge feat to get on and off.
