Electronic Arts has announced today that the upcoming entry into their hit The Sims series has gone gold. The game will be available in stores on June 5th and will come in a $49.99 regular edition as well as a $69.99 Collector's Edition. The Collector's Edition is expected to have the game itself, a Sims-styled 2GB USB drive, a tips guide, plus a bonus in-game European-styled sports car.

      I don't like to bash on generosity but most stores will throw these things at you for free.

      It costs so little for a company to mass produce 4-8 GB Usb sticks that this is beyond me.

      Ah well, if they do manage to not screw it with DRM I'll buy it. Otherwise the boycott of EA will continue for this gamer.
