Connecting a modem from 1964 up to the interweb

Back in the 1960s if you wanted to connect to the internet you had to use a big wooden box that you stuck your (wired) phone inside!

Oh how things have changed! Although for some of us in the UK, speeds haven't increased by much. :'(

In the clip you'll see "Phreakmonkey" hooking up a Livermore Data Systems 'Model A' modem to his laptop. The end result? Wikipedia at a less than blistering speed.
