T minus 3 days to go. Team Twitter are raring for the off: Facebook Vs Twitter 8-12th

A not so brief briefing, 2 hours later and Team Twitter are all excited, just for a change eh.

Armed with our camera equipment, GPS and lots of bright ideas, we're still none the wiser as to where we're going or what on earth the Current TV bosses will be making us do...It's going to be like Charlie Brooker and Euan McGregor riding around all over the shop, without the beards and the adoring fans, like The Apprentice...but with sex appeal and more swearing.

    • Nonsense - Team Twitter have it easy. If you want real time information from a gigantic hive-mind, then Facebook can't even begin to compete. And I assume that's the sort of thing that they'll want.

      I suppose the "hive mind" assessment is correct, but Facebook has so many users already, where friends can link to more friends, creating a larger spider-web effect.

      Take my younger sister's Facebook page. She is still at university and has roughly 400 friends that she can link with and communicate with at the click of a button.

      I am currently following about 25 people on twitter and have 20 people following me...which is the case of most non-celebrity people on Twitter. It doesn't quite compare.

      Out of all of my friends on Facebook, I would have to say that only 4 of them are linked with me on Twitter.

      Those are the odds.
