It's probably the greatest case of vaporware of all time. Kotaku is reporting that Duke Nukem Forever is apparently still in development. From the article:
The disclosure can be found within court documents relating to the franchise, and specifically reads,

"[3D Realms/Apogee Ltd.] admits that it has continually worked on the development of the DNF for many years, and continues to do so."

Seriously? Let it die, guys. We all loved Duke Nukem, especially those of us who were about 13 when the original hit. But now I don't even think there's a market for this thing. Plus the remaining fans are so jaded about the whole debacle that I don't think it's even worth it.

    • This game will suck so bad that women around the world will get their tubes tied just so that they don't have any chance of birthing anyone as fucked up and poor at their jobs as the folks behind this project.

    • DUDE, i would still buy this thing.
I have been waiting for a true sequel for years.

All of the true fans would have never given up hope, even if the law did get involved, since Duke is all about kicking ass and saving the babes.

    • I would still buy it when it came out if it ever does.

Just to say I finally got the damn thing after waiting a decade or two :)
