FIFA 10 coming 2 October

Now I couldn't care less about Fifa as I'm a born and bred PRO EVO Player, but still interesting to find out when the competition is getting released.

"It’s official. FIFA 10 is coming on 2 October, landing on all consoles just in time to spark the annual dust up about whether this time it really is better than Pro Evolution Soccer. The new version of PES is currently scheduled for Autumn"

    • This argument was true when Winning Eleven first came out, but it's certainly not true now. FIFA moved from grid based playing system to OW style movement and since then EA have been creating decent football games.

      In fact, with the 09' versions of the games FIFA consistently scored higher- at worst the same- than it's Konami counterpart. And these were from games writers who are by and large Pro purists.

      Personally I don't even see new iterations of the same 2 football games being released as news anymore. It's like watching Friday the 13th Part MCXVIII

    • I had Pro Evo about 4 years ago for ps2 when it was definitely better than Fifa and I was all about Pro Evo and anti Fifa. Since then, things have changed, Fifa '09 is a legit great game with none of the ugly menu's and graphics of PE. As for gameplay, the newer Fifa's do play more like the older PE games and thats why I with Fifa. Online play is much better and unfortunately because of their licensing and everything its just better. Fifa 10 will be the shit and ima get it right when it comes out.

    • Even if FIFA actually got better than Pro Evo I don't think I would buy it. Its ingrained now, I have been playing Pro so long, it would be like saying i'm suddenly switching Arsenal for Man U.

    • Seriously when it boils down to it are any of these mother funking games that much different anymore?

      I think PES have won the war however but back in the day it was all about Fifa.
