Despite the pre-order box for Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves advertising a mandatory install – almost 2GB in size – a twitter by the studio’s Co-president, Christophe Balestra, has confirmed otherwise.

A tweet on the developers twitter also confirms this, saying: “We can confirm there is NO mandatory installation for Uncharted 2.”
