James McTeigue is describing his next film The Raven as meeting Se7en. The film is about a fictional tale that places author Edgar Allan Poe at the head of a serial killer crime investigation.
McTeigue director of also V For Vendetta and Ninja Assassin, stated that the project is an "account of the final five 'mysterious' days of Edgar Allan Poe's life. An additional leak also stated that Edgar Allan Poe will do the hunt for a serial killer whose murders are inspired by his stories."
