If reports are anything to go on, Nintendo could be bringing horse-riding right into your front room! Nintendo have apparently patented an 'inflatable horse-riding style peripheral' for the Wii.

The patent was spotted by Siliconera, and as the picture above shows, the horsey has a handy little pocket which you can store the Wii-mote in whilst riding.

According to TechRadar, the peripheral's concept is 'based on the idea that the Wii Remote's accelerometers will register the movement of the gamer's "derriere" on the seat, while using the nunchuck as reins or as "a raised hand for balance as in Bronco riding, a lasso, a sword or other weapon".

Giddy up, Yeee hah!
