Video ads to appear in PAPER magazine!

Video advertisements will appear in an upcoming print edition of Entertainment Weekly. Yes, that's right, an advert containing moving images and, presumably, sound will be in a paper magazine!

How will this extraordinary feat be achieved? Well there's a small, thin, LCD display - with a resolution of 320x240 pixels (pretty standard for mobiles these days) - a chip that can store 40 minutes worth of video and a battery that lasts up to 70 minutes (and can be recharged by mini-USB).

How much does this all cost? Who knows - but the BBC has excelled at pointing out the obvious with this gem...

'It's believed the new technology will cost much more than normal print ads.'
