Get ready to start reading a new motion sickness warning label on games. Sony has just announced at IFA2009 that a firmware update in 2010 will bring stereoscopic (3D) support to games on the PlayStation 3.

I don't HAVE a 3D HDTV, why on earth would I want this?! christ just make my whole ROOM a freakin television and call it 7D and push out the firmware for that already, GOD!

Yeah i agree it could be really cool but i'm wondering whether it will still require the purchase of a 3DTV. When you consider most people have only just upgraded to HDTV's I'm not sure many people are going to want to buy a new TV just yet to experiance 3D
