Task force members played the video game at various times during the day, for a total of a little over an hour of playing time.
Tampa defense attorney Rick Escobar would argue the moment detectives turned on that video game and effectively seized it, they turned the search warrant into an illegal search.

Wii Sports Bowling is addictive i know.. Maybe we can get them in a "Addiction rehab". I wonder how much that will cost the taxpayers.. keep running up the bill guys..
But seriously, these guys had to make sure it was working & not just a hollowed out drug shell, That i can understand, but then continuing to play it.. bad move guys..
I say fire them & give them all the time they need to Up thier stats at home.. (im sure with partial Pension)

They acted so incredibly unprofessionally and displayed such poor judgment that their jobs would be in danger in the private sector but worst of all this video could fundamentally interfere with the legal validity of any evidence secured at the residence. This behavior put at risk all associated resources. They wasted taxpayer money to potentially make us less safe.

To answer your question REGJOESCHMO the reason the police are so special is because they have a badge! They passed a test and now they are the law therefor ABOVE the law.
How many cops do u know that follow the laws they enforce on the rest of us? - 2 years ago

Something is very wrong with the level of decency in our society it appears that more people want jobs but those that have job do not want to do the work.

ANYBODY SEEN TRAINING DAY? I understand that it is only a movie... but I think you get the idea. Being the law, for some, simply means being above the law. EGO is a mean pill to swallow... and most don't do it well.

Amazing that we pay these people so much money and there is supposed downtime on such raids......
Anyone else caught playing video games while on the clock would be fired, why are these people so special??
