The absurd war on drugs

Image

There's a war going on for decades all over the world that has caused thousands of deaths without getting the slightest result. It's the war of the world's governments against drugs. An illegal drug is a substance that governments have decided to prohibit quite arbitrarily. Alcohol and pharmaceutical drugs have stronger effects on the human body than many illegal drugs, yet they are legal. The reason why certain drugs have been banned and others not it's only cultural.

    • I want My Herb. But The drug war is an utter failure and its better to have the harder drugs distributed by pharmacies, and treatment centers than the cartels. So in the end I dont see any formal resolution that involves a prohibition, Prohibition has never worked.
Its a shame because there are some really nasty drugs out there, most of them are allready available at your Local Pharmacy. But if prohibiton had worked i would of lost out on an extremely awesome plant.

    • "Sometimes we need to understand about human rights. They prohibit some drugs because of Human Rights Law. We are free to choose to what medicine we are buying for our health and we are free to reject communism.

Freedom to choose about lower prices but effective also against to terrorism.

I do believed that the Government do the right thing against those drugs because some drug syndicates killed innocent lives when their mind are affected pof drugs and molest the privacy of many private people and abused their power and stole names and money of the others."-Donabell C. De Apera

    • exactly, take the money out of it by making it regulated. Bring the crime violence to a more manageable level and start putting money back into the system so we funnel it into programs that would help instead of the pockets of drug king pins.

But that makes waayyyy too much sense.

    • If people want to flush their life down the toilet there will always be a way. Legalize it, tax it big time and start a lot of recovery centers. Drug use would go up, but, only a few years and it would drop dramatically. What would happen without all the gangsters in inner cities making money of crack? I bet life would get a whole lot better.
