    • Rocket launches are cool, there's something about hearing that countdown anticipating the lift off then boom! I'd like to go to the moon and get to ride in one of those bad boys.

    • I was there and it was awesome! After twenty plus years of living next to the space center I've seen a lot of launches but until today I've never seen the vapor trail run off the nose of a rocket or shuttle as it breaks the sound barrier. Go NASA you guys rock.

      I don't think they have difficulties...

      I think they're just trying to see the success of the new ship after all their previous space crafts have been retired due to safety reasons (I think... correct me if I'm wrong).

      regardless of that, though, at least they have a renewed (but debated) interest for the moon.

      you can't land a shuttle on the moon, where are the runways? Say you did land a shuttle on the moon, how do you take off again?

      They are testing a new rocket because the Saturn rocket is out of date.
