He hired an attorney to get him out, he told the army he was harassed, he was willing to give up all that was given to him and probably then some but NO CAN'T LET ONE MAN LEAVE WHEN THE ARMY IS FAR OVER STRETCHED. he snapped when he found out that he was being sent off to these stupid wars. I just heard that Hasan is actually an involuntary CIA type agency operative used as part of an unpublicized coersion psych op that targets individuals and coerces them into doing terrorist operations, such as what Hasan did. The objective of the op is to bring media attention to an attrocity on American soil done by someone who has ties or who could be made to appear to have ties to Al Qaeda. The op was scheduled to happen as it did so that public presure would be put on Obama to sign for tens of thosands more troops to deploy to Afghanistan, which is happening right now.

In light of the recent public opposition to the Afghanistan war, the military needs a tragedic emergency like this to justify their request for more troops to the public. This is allegedly the same tactic used to orchestrate 9/11. Though in that case, the coersion psych op wasn't necesary. But it was necessary to have a major national emengency to wage a new war.

Of course there is absolutely no way any of this can ever be proven, as with all CIA ops. It's also not clear if it is the CIA, the NSA, or even a contractor like Xe (Blackwater) that orchestrated the op.
