If Al Gore's film An Inconvenient Truth raised awareness about global warming by frightening people, he hopes his latest book, Our Choice, will help people find solutions to the problem. He talked about those solutions with President Obama yesterday in advance of Obama's trip to the world climate-change meeting in Copenhagen. He was coy about their conversation but did talk about his book, the nature of the climate change debate, and the controversy surrounding those e-mails disclosed from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia.

The hypocritical billionaire flying around the world telling others how to live is causing it.

First off, his net worth is not over or at a billion, thus not making him a billionaire. Second, what ex presidents or ex vice presidents have flown on a public jet after they left office? I thought that it was a security thing that had to do with secret service that follows around a president of vice president for the rest of their life after their term is complete.

Yes you are correct that he is not a billionaire, yet. Mondale and Quayle both fly commercially and do not have secret service protection. Gore does not have secret service protection anymore.

I am glad AL Gore gets a chance to Plug his new book while he does damage control on scandal that debunked the premise of his Old movie. This profiteering charlatan never fails amaze me.

Wake up! The environmental movement has been hijacked by greedy self-serving businessman and opportunistic politicians. Regardless on where you stand on global warming the idea that setting up trillion dollar Carbon Credit racket (which Al Gore’s Company Generation Investment Management has conveniently bought up millions of carbon credits, for pennies on the dollar, prior to the senate passing Cap and trade and making carbon credits legal currency) is absurd. He is on par to become the first climate change billionaire while he flies around the world in his private jet talking about carbon footprints.
I wonder how he is going to contain the anger from the third world countries as a result of the recently released Danish text :
