A New Zealand company is to begin production of commercial jet packs.
Martin Aircraft Company intend 500 personal jet packs each year, which will sell for around £50,000.
They were unveiled last July by their inventor Glenn Martin, and currently do not require their users to hold a pilots licence due their low 115kg weight.
They are capable of travelling 30 miles in 30 minutes on a full tank of fuel, can reach heights of 2,400 metres and top speeds of 60mph.
