You think you know dedication? You don’t know dedication!...OK. Maybe you do. But still. There’s a group of Halo 2 fans that are currently refusing to finish the fight despite Microsoft pulling the plug on the original Xbox Live service last week.

The devoted gamers have had their systems on and connected for over a week, and while their numbers are dropping at an alarming rate, it appears that there are still people playing. Although, two of the main live streams that have been carrying the momentous feat have stopped after both users had their Internet connections drop.

It’s unclear how many users were playing on original Xboxes as opposed to Xbox 360s, but this Justin.tv feed was for a 360 player. As of last night, there were still 24 people playing. I came across another stream of one of the last connected players, but it isn’t broadcasting yet. The fight to keep Halo 2 alive continues.
