Former Soldiers like, Mike Prysner, come together to tell why they oppose war:

Our real enemy is not the ones living in a distant land whose names or policies we don't understand; The real enemy is a system that wages war when it's profitable, the CEOs who lay us off our jobs when it's profitable, the Insurance Companies who deny us Health care when it's profitable, the Banks who take away our homes when it's profitable. Our enemies are not several hundred thousand miles away. They are right here in front of us - Mike Prysner Former U.S. Soldier

The chain reaction of evil... wars producing more wars... must be broken, or we shall be plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation - Martin Luther King, Jr.

If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy... The loss of Liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or imagined, from abroad... - James Madison

Read that last quote again. Why do we ignore the advice of the men and women we respect most in this country? James Madison understood the concept of False Flag attacks. He understood that, if given a chance, elements in our government are capable of treasonous acts against the People. We the People are the government of this country. Let's remind them.

    • In the early 1900s when the Russian nation was finding out that its upper classes were parasites, the peasants got stirred up by false "revolutionaries" who ended up co-opting social unrest to take power for themselves. Today the "Tea Party" movement seeks to channel popular discontent into a means for consolidating its stranglehold on the wealth of the nation.

A distinguishing aspect of today's situation is that American "peasants" own SUVs, live in fancy kennels, and watch other people's lives on plasma screen TVs. Anyone with an advertising dollar can buy popular support, which now consists of marching around like a douchebag, holding a misspelled picket sign, mouthing slogans created by focus groups . We've come a long way, baby.

    • Progresshiv:

The Tea Party has become a third party just as bad and corrupt as the other two. When I write of independent candidates I am speaking of truly independent candidates. I speak of those with great ideas, a firm commitment to honor and truth and a good understanding of the Constitution. These candidates you will have to research because corporate media and money won't be promoting them. All else is just more of the same. Left...right...middle left...middle right...that's all foolish fodder for the easily fooled. There is absolutely no difference in Republican and Democrat nor Bush and Obama.
