Sean Miller cut down the final pieces of nylon?and the Wildcats huddled together one last time in McKale Center as they celebrated their first Pacific 10 Conference championship since the 2004-05 after defeating Oregon 90-82.? First-year Arizona athletic director Greg Byrne said it best when he proclaimed after the game, “What a great day to be an Arizona basketball fan.” McKale Center erupted and Arizona’s special season finally came full circle, with the Wildcats putting the finishing touches on their first winless home record since the 1998-99 season.?
