The Wisconsin Recall efforts 'just got supercharged!'

BREAKING: Republicans just broke the rules to vote against workers.

Help us punish them. We're increasing our TV ad buy in the districts of Republicans who are up for recall -- and we'll add radio and online ads.

Wisconsin Senate Republicans rammed through a bill taking away workers' rights. It's shameful, unprecedented, and probably illegal. We can't let them get away with this. We have to recall the Republican state senators and the who did this.

Right now there are 8 Republican state Senators up for recall campaigns. Progressives in Wisconsin have already gathered thousands of signatures to do just that, but they need our help to get the job done.

Can you help make sure these Senators lose their seats over their outrageous actions by chipping in what you can to the Wisconsin Democratic Party, which is organizing the recall efforts right now?

    • These elections will provide the evidence of how strong the Koch brothers influence is here in WI. The Democratic base was energized by the antics of Walker and the Fitzgeralds and yes, milojacks, the release of Paul Ryan's "Roadmap" was perfect timing to stir things up even further. Despite Walker's attempts in the last few days to seem less extreme, his corporate backed agenda always seems to show through. Hopefully enough enlightened voters get to the polls today and send the message that the right-wing agenda is not what we want in this state.

    • I did early voting here in Wisconsin so that I could spend the day driving seniors to the polls in my 40mpg lib-mobile. From the conversations so far this morning I feel the need to give a big thank you to Paul Ryan (R) for his budget plan that seeks to gut medicare and medicaid while giving HUGE tax breaks to the top 2%, way to motivate to seniors there Paul. It would not surprise me if turnout is double the norm for a judicial election.

    • Wisconsin is like the shining city on a hill. We are all behind you and you have inspired a nation. I never thought that I would see the day when the working people would again stand up for their rights. What has happened in Wisconsin was a wake-up call that is bringing the public back to the unions. This is a great thing. The political/corporate alliance has been taking us down the trail of self-destruction and now is the time to reverse that trend. We all have a right to live, no matter what the dogs of the Tea Party say. They will not get away with their union-crushing program.

    • Thanks again Jason for your help and support! You bet WI recall efforts are supercharged. The other big deal today is the WI elections. Chris Abele and Joanne Kloppenburg must win. My husband and I are voting when he gets off of work today. Rachel Maddow will be keeping an eye on the WI vote tonight!

    • Good Guy: "You can't get away with this forever!"
Bad Guy "Never is a very long time."

Laws aren't any good unless you can enforce them.
