-University of Massachusetts at Amherst’s Political Economy Research Institute, shows Koch Industries as one of the nation’s top 10 polluters/emitters.
-A March 2010 Greenpeace report shows that Koch Industry foundations have contributed (2005-2008) nearly $25 million to organizations that oppose clean energy and climate policy. That does not include oil and gas lobbying of $37.9 million.

When I go to the store the Koch products are all on sale. The boycott must be having an effect on sales.

The twin rallies in New York City today drew thousands. One rally was for labor and the other was anti-war. The pace is picking up and the numbers are climbing. Between the assaults from the Neocons in Congress and Wisconsin and the expansion of the permanent state of warfare, there was plenty to be enraged about. There was plenty of invective all around.

I think that is a brand of napkins. They sell many different brands in the stores, when in doubt - just look at the name of the manufacturer. If it says Georgia-Pacific, it's a Koch brand.
Here's link from georgia-pacific on related websites - you'll notice Koch industries in the list.

Here's something to get your blood pressure boiling:
With each brother having a net worth of $21.5billion, if their investments were earning a 5% return annually they would "make" $1,075,000,000 per year and pay only 15% in taxes. After they paid their $161,250,000 dollars in taxes, they would only be left with a little less than $914 million dollars a year to scrape by on.
So you can see why they are upset.

I've heard that the Koch's Matador Ranch in Texas offers a number of hunting packages, including one that if you shoot your hunting partner in the face a Public Relations team will be furnished to you at no extra charge.
You never know when that will come in handy. :)

lol, have no clue how that Stewart clip made it onto my post. None the less, our little lemming shill should enjoy it with a cup of dispersant & a chaser of radioactive water.

Clean energy is a technology years in the future. Right now and for the foreseeable future we are going to be burning coal and using natural gas and oil. Windmills and sunlight are a waste of time. We need to keep searching for an alternative or a safer way to use nuclear energy.

Clean energy is definitely not "years in the future". Windmills and sunlight for energy has shown to be more than reliable than coal, oil, and natural gas; though you are right that we won't stop using those for a long while. As for nuclear energy, if it was suggested forty or fifty years ago, I would back it up; however, we already have better alternatives than that.

Silly Jimmy Carter told us how important it was to get off of our oil addiction. We might have been a true world leader now ,if we listened.

In the efficiency standards tests, wind rates at 30% with coal rating at 100%. Neither sun or wind are at the level that they need to be to sustain everyone's increasing energy consumption. Geothermal has great potential and would shift tremendous burden off the grid, but even that very effcient power is years away from being harnessable by the average consumer.

Always good to see some of the Koch Bros dirt finding the light of day. I do not (knowingly) buy any of their products.
America would be much better off without them (the Koch Bros).
