I am 61 . Have terrible memory trouble that is constantly debilitating . I avoided pot like the plague . Because I feared being stoned out on top of other problems . Maybe I was wrong to try to get my wife to smoke outside . I will read the book with an open mind and kean interest . But how to get clean honest herbs is another matter . If it was legal it would be as low cost as alfalfa and clean as alfalfa . About ten dollars a bail for a two wire bail . Well I guess pure bud would be about 150 times more expensive . I have burnt lungs since 1974 so I will no be smokeing it . Thanks TY

The CBD in certain strains has shown to cause neurogenesis in the adult hypo campus, meaning new brain cells were grown in regions of the adult brain. something that was thought impossible previously. I would also strongly suggest checking out lions mane mushroom as a supplement to your diet which is beneficial to nerve health and growth, check this link for more info. http://www.fungi.com/supplements/index.html

As THC is soluble in fats, you can simmer it in full-fat milk and then drink it. You can also eat it. You can also get a vaporizer to inhale it without hurting your lungs.

Yep... They've been saying for a few years now at least that marijuana benefited Alzheimer's patients, the cancer benefits long since known....
Let's see with about 1 in 2 American men expected to get cancer in their lifetimes, you'd think the push for legalization would be a little harder...
I know I certainly didn't like knowing the whole time my grandmother had Alzheimer's that marijuana might help but there was nothing I could do help, given the fact she was already so anti-marijuana brainwashed, and the shit is still illegal even for medicine in most places...
I know if I ever get cancer you can either go ahead and take me out a little early or not mess with me for possessing and cultivating it, because I won't be going off to a jail cell to die simply for possessing, cultivating, or using a plant even our first president grew , and don't really like the idea of chemotherapy...

Thanks, this is very interesting because I have a history of Alzheimer's in my family. Does it make a difference if you smoke it or eat because you would think smoking it would be bad for you.

Doubt you will get a straight up unbiased answer here so i will give you my 2 cents worth.
I am 50 yrs old.
I have been smoking since i was 17. Mostly every day with some exceptions of course. I currently smoke about an oz. of hydro every month.
All I can tell you is my Dr. says I am already suffering from the effects of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
NOTHING inhaled into your lungs is natural. Except oxygen.
So there you go. - 6 months ago

Get real.
I and 90% of the people who "use" it do so to get high.
I highly doubt you smoke it to prevent Alzheimer or cancer.
You are just using the studies to validate your consumption.
I am just being honest about it.
Eating it is a waste of a good buzz. - 6 months ago

I can only tell you from my own experience. I am 57 years old and consume no daily maintenance drugs.
America has become a take a pill society. Take a pill for this, take a pill for that. All the while they carry out a war on American soil against a God Made plant. It's an "Assault on Reason" and US.
Up is not down, black is not white, wrong is not right. Cannabis hemp has been around for thousands of years. Long before American politicians decided to use it for political gain. Facts matter. The truth matters more. It's time for them to address the issue of cannabis using facts, not spun madness.

You can eat it, bake it in cakes and cookies, add it to tomato or bolognese sauce for your pasta, make chai with it (all these so long as there are fats among the ingredients because it is soluble in fats only), or use a Volcano vaporizer to inhale it without it containing any smoke http://www.storz-bickel.com/vaporizer/volcano-vaporization-system.html

Marijuana is a truly revolutionary substance, I heard it said once that if Marijuana were to be unknown to mankind as it is now, and brought out of the jungles by some no-name botanist, then it would be immediately heralded as one of the most miraculous plants ever discovered by man. It's industrial uses as hemp are legitimate and groundbreaking, it's medicinal values are far-reaching and drastically safer than any pharmaceutical medications manufactured, and it's ability to expand creative potential is not to be dismissed.
Corporate greed and contempt in the name of profit and the survival of innefficient but power hungry interests has allowed it to be prohibited for so long. Even a brief examination of the origins of marijuana prohibition reveal an unsurprisingly detailed past of racism and astounding ignorance in the face of science, our government refuses to even conduct research on this plant! Is that not the most insane policy you've ever heard? To maintain expensive and life-ruining prohibition when you have no details on what you're fighting?
It's no wonder we've fallen face first into more wars in the past decade, we're not interested in the truth, we're interested in profit at any expense! Even when that profit is a net loss for the whole of humanity...
This is utter madness.

If you haven't read, "The Emperor Wears No Clothes", here's the link http://www.jackherer.com/thebook/ The actual book is half facts and half documentation to back up the Facts. Jack Herer combined all the facts in a book. Once one reads the book they can no longer be spun madness.
A Czar was created to silence the 'voices of reason'. I used to call it 'Silenced in America, by an American Czar'. Sad, sad, sad.
