Fox contributor: Female soldiers should 'expect' to be Raped

My opinion will be unpopular one here on Current but as many know I am not afraid of voicing unpopular opinions. First off I do not believe anyone should be abused, or raped. Having said that, a woman myself, I am offended of so many laws that treat all women as weak and unprotected creatures who are supposedly are consistently victimized. I am sick and tired of how women are being robed of all personal responsibilities of making decisions, learning from bad decisions, and gaining skills to protect themselves.

I also no longer believe majority of rape claims, when the definition of rape has been expended to include a disappointed or dissatisfied outcome of consensual sex it really minimizes the true claims of rape.

I expect Liz to go jump off a cliff....rape is a crime, crimes get reported and criminals get prosecuted and go to jail. What part of the word crime does Liz not undestand? It's crap that morons like Liz spews that empowers hate and injustice and disempowers women. If the cost of dealing with something goes up it it indicates something is seriously wrong.....Liz is an idiot, no wonder she's a FOX contributer.

I hope Liz gets raped by all her male correspondent buddies, anally, vaginally, orally and up her fucking nose!

Sexual harassment and rape it's the daily bread on the war, but the government is keeping it quiet. If the army abused the prisoners in Abu Graib prison for many months, you think they are going to report about women abuse in the army. keep on dreaming !

On a more serious note. It's amazing the mentality of the people at Fox. They are always the victim. Which makes it okay for them to demonize other victims...because only they can be the victim.

Nobody, male or female, should "expect to be raped" anywhere they go. Nobody "asks for it," implicitly or explicitly, either. If a male soldier does rape a female soldier, he should be punished like any other criminal, period.

Just as with LGBT issues, the Right wants to define "different-ok" versus "different-not-ok" and force everyone into their definitions.
I would also argue that the complete abandonment of moral integrity in our "War on Terror" has undermined morality in all areas. Abu Ghraib Prison, Bagram Prison, rendition, torture, and indiscriminate killing of innocents undermine a soldier's sense of morality. The hawks might say, "that's just war", but for troops in or close to the shi*t it's just FUBAR. As we saw in Viet Nam, when it goes FUBAR all sense of ethical and moral behavior degrades rapidly. Throughout history women have served well in ethical conflict. When it gets barbarian they often become victims, whichever side they're on.

We're in close contact with people every day, especially in the workplace. Does that mean that feminist working in close contact should expect to get raped? Go to C-span and listen to Panetta. He said 2010 34,000 reported sexual attacks and 80% of attacks are not reported. YOU do the MATH.
Panetta also said 2006 42,000 sex attacks within USA military.
