    • As an amputee in the uk with all the support and medical aids that are provided in a first world country my heart goes out to those people dealing not just with the physical and emotional trauma of limb loss but not knowing if the support and mediacl supplies will be there to give them a semblence of life and hope.

    • Thanks for posting the link to Death Train, Mike. For me, these two stories along with the Morocco and Mauritania Immigration stories (see links below) we did some months later, really make the immigration debate here feel a bit academic. Migration is such a primal instinct. If things are bad, you move to where they're better.
