It's inhumane and unfair, must never take for granted our freedom here. Oh God please help those who are stuck in bondage, in despair.
Works of journalism like this brings to light a world ever stalked by relentless evil. Thank you Marianna and team for your fearlessness and passion.

So interesting research...but I think that Moroccan goverment cant give any job to Subsaharian people because first at all it has to look for their citizens and Moroccan country is not caracterized of so many job and health sociey. So Morocco is another character in this story of inmigration, and if we want to erradicate this problem all the countries of EU have to negociate a trade.

Authorities both Spanish and Moroccan shot immigrants who were trying to cross illegally to the other side, not only Moroccan.
These individuals remain in Morocco in an illegal situation. Most are NOT persecuted from their countries, they simply want to reach Europe to better themselves.
Many Sub Saharan Africans who are living in Moroccan shadows carry out terrible crimes. Two women were attacked by African refugees while running on Meknes' green belt and rapped.
I think Morocco has to protect the interest of its own people by providing security.
The Moroccan Gov't did not grant permission to enter, so why should they recognize some fake refugee cards.
When someone is deported they are NOT dropped in the middle of nowhere...give me a break!!!! - 3 years ago

this was a great video clip. i showed this one to my students as we are currently covering North Africa in my World Geography class. it definitely gave them a different view of migrants than the typical (what we are used to in Los Angeles) Latino immigrants from Mexico & Central/South America.

It surprises me that none of the people have any aspirations to make their homeland better than what it is. They all believe that the answer is to fight to flee Africa, rather than fight to change/reform their country.
Further, I am interested in seeing if and how the lives of the migrants whom have made it to Europe have changed, be it positive or negative.

Marianne, thank you for attempting to bring this situation to the worlds attention. It's a stain on humanity that we allow people to be treated like some of the women you spoke to in your story. The story of the woman who was deported by Moroccan police to the middle of the desert where there was no food and no water and where her 5 year child died was very disturbing.
