    • Nothing better than going into a Japanese or Chinese market and experimenting with the various foods. And, after nearly 8 years of doing so I have yet to have a bad [taste] experience.

    • Mm, fish balls are sooo good. And milk tea? Even better. Sounds like the perfect lunch. Grab one of those Strong Men and I'm ready for a night on the town!

    • I'm sure that foreign visitors to the US might say the same thing. semi-liquid cheese and meat (chili) that are squirted onto tortilla chips or hot dogs? atomic-fluorescent liquid/ice in 44 oz. cups might seem a little strange to much of the rest of the world.

    • One of the things I love to do while on the road is check out the local markets, including convenience stores. You can find the funkiest things. In South America for example, I found salsa flavored gum. Turkey's big on all sorts of nuts. And in China, boiled soy sauce eggs are a favorite. As the world becomes more globalized, it's nice to know that our 7-11s are maintaining some sense of culture!
